Wintel Engineers
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring systems are running with high availability through effective monitoring across all systems.
About The Role:
- Maintain and administer pre-prod and production environments as required
- provide assistance in sustainment and implementation activities
- Manage the day to day operations of Infrastructure services
- Pro-actively monitor critical platforms to address potential issues and risks across IT Services
- Set the infrastructure priorities and requirements related support, changes, upgrades and demand
- Liaise with stakeholders to monitor performance, address issues and provide feedback
- Comply with Risk, Backup and Service Continuity guidelines
Requirements:
- At least 5 years experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
- Well Developed Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, services and documentation.
- Experience and knowledge of VMware virtualization technology
- Demonstrated competence in Microsoft networking and directory services
- University degree in IT or recent IT Certification VMware Microsoft
- Experience across Network Security, internet, firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, IDS.
- Experience with VMWare ,Active Directory Exchange Azure Cloud
- Environment WINTEL NetAPP Storage
- Experience with End User computing & CITRIX
- Experience working with Vendors
