About The Role:
The role involves working within small development teams. You will be designing and developing web applications based on agreed business requirements. You will also be responsible for continued maintenance, development, and bug fixes for applications through the use of content management systems and customization on an as-need basis.
Your responsibilities include:
- Defines site objectives by analysing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
- Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications Developing and implementing websites based on agreed business requirements
- Designing and developing the necessary back-end database (Oracle and SQL)
- Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting.
Requirements:
- 4+ years minimum experience as a Java/J2EE Web Developer
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience testing utilising Junit
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Deliver work to a high standard within agreed timescales.
- Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
